Christina Stern
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - BC
Christina Stern has worked as a nurse in diverse settings since 2012. She has worked on the inpatient psychiatric units at South Oaks Hospital, as well as, the psychiatric partial hospital programs at Mather Hospital. Christina has experience working as a nurse manager on a dementia unit at a nursing facility caring for residents and their families. Throughout her time working as a registered nurse Christina worked as a medical surgical nurse in the Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Hospital, as well as, several medical units at Stony Brook Hospital. This diverse experience has allowed Christina to have a great foundation of knowledge that has helped her to meet her patients needs. Christina graduated from Stony Brook University in 2018 as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and soon thereafter obtained her Board Certification. She began working in a private practice setting at that time. Christina currently works with patients at her practice and also works at Stony Brook University as faculty for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program.

Trishia Mayorga
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - BC
Trisha Mayorga has been a registered nurse since 2011. She worked 11 for years at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She started her career on a surgical unit caring for patients post procedures. During her later years she transitioned to the Mindful care unit: A unit for patients with psychiatric disorders requiring medical care. She specialized in taking care of Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, as well as, Schizophrenic and Bipolar patients. Trisha furthered her career by graduating from Hunter College with her degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has recently worked in a private practice setting assisting patients with diverse Mental Health disorders. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
